My husband and I just filed Chap. 7, eliminating all bills. He said to me "I need to get a job, so he can get his 745" I said, did you not learn from the last 10 yrs, bills are debt, so don't create them. My motto is cash everything out. My truck is cash out, my ins is paid up for 12 mos. I hate bills and paying finance charges. He said he like nice things and he can't afford to cash out $130K, but he can afford to pay $700. It's like out of the frying pan and into the fire. What should I do??

Well i guess ur husband like a kinda stylish life style...
how bout trying putting things in a nice way to him explain to him... and tell him the facts...

or u can chk with the bank how much the int and calculate how much the loan will be for a 745.. and the monthly installments... if he can afford it w/out u having to get a job than he can go ahead or otherwise... certain things have to be delayed for the best of the family....

sometimes is difficult to get them to understand the whole situation .... but all u can do is to try... and if doesnt work out get some1 close to mayb his gd fren or s'thing... to talk to him u know "man to man talk " thingy... mite help...

what's chapter 7 and mos and 745? i'm guessing terms a 13 year old wouldn't understand (me)....but i think all you can do is talk it out with him, pros and cons of your side and his side and from there discuss which one is the better way.

by the way...it sounds like your having a lot of the smaller issues of marriage....it's not a bad idea to think about divorce. these little things add up into bigger problems unless you're able to work them out. if both of you agree on just ignoring these problems, get a divorce and save yourself the pain
