his kids and wife are great..but since that fake *** scene in London with the kid from the mail room the show went into the crapper...at least put out a disclaimer...his desire for money (by creating more drama) will end the show...or make it more appealing to fools

Simmons' "Family Jewels" project is more than a mere documentary, people--really now: get back on the decaf ASAP!!

"Family Jewels", I suspect, simply began as a therepeutic means to allow Gene and his family to see each other on camera.....and get a resonant clear view into each other's views on family issues. Given Gene's good idea record, I'll blindly credit him with this brilliant idea. Yes: it does generate some $$$ earnings, too--who's to say otherwise??

Scripted? Yes, of course it--to a degree--is. But such episodes are mere cinematic exercises into drama and comedic writing, producing....and yes---filming. And I gotta say this: Gene's done well w/ filmed experiences in these areas. Bottom line: Gene had to see if he could do drama and/or comedy---like he had to see if he could really use his teaching training, learned many many years before KISS.

Logically, "Family Jewels" has got to end sometime......or does it? Gene's family, I think, has become all the more healthier and happier (something rare in Beverly Hills homes) for having done this experience.

And it's allowed Gene to teach his kids how to become savvy in the business world; giving both fair share to the Simmons Empire.......only to retire off quietly w/ Shannon.

How's THAT for a happy ending.......or beginning????

The dildo glued to his hand was hysterical. Gene is a big clutz.

The show won't end until he is sick of doing it. I've watched every episode religiously. I'm a huge Kiss fan and it's neat to see the family side of Gene Simmons. It you take is the show too seriously, then it's those people who are fools. It's all in fun.

true...did you see the carrot top/dildo glued to the hand debacle? clearly and badly scripted. The kids and the sister-in-law are the only things I liked anyway. bye bye bs.

When I saw that glued to his hand I laughed so hard. He is obsessed with money though.
