actual, Bob, I actual have come during your question in the time of a decrease era in my existence: in between artwork, a great deal helping my older teenage daughter together with her examine, [happy to do yet wanting to renew artwork], and sacrificing maximum weekends for my daughter, in a worrying place. Love existence? Zilch provided that the worrying place takes up that element too. LOL. even though, as long as my toddlers are healthful and happy, i'm happy, yet no longer fulfilled, as a woman who's named in her best. the element is: whilst i'm waiting to end dedicating each hour of my existence to my daughter, and start up fairly living and experiencing most of the record of activities I desire to do [publishing 2 books, trip, camping out and fishing] too, then would be fairly pleased with my existence and what's left of it. Its all interior of ourselves to make the needed variations to be self happy. with a bit of luck i gets there with a minimum of between the objectives.

Mostly happy.
At 45, I'm coming to terms with certain things about myself and my life.
I have a thriving career in the performing arts, but wracking up all this experience has been at a price -- I have just a few good friends, and my siblings have become a bit distant. It's not that I somehow abandoned them, but in the arts you have to devote a lot of time to projects, and you have to keep doing a lot of them to stay "visible" to producers and casting directors.
But overall, I always strive to do what my dad recommended. He used to say, "you're eventually going to die, so try not to have too many regrets when your time comes." But some decisions are hard, and you have to live with the consequences. I had to spend a lot of time in the arts in order to make a living, but that meant missing a lot of birthdays and holidays. Thus, I have a regret about the missed family events, but it nonetheless had to be done in order to support myself.
But one of the things I do to try to make up for that is to act benevolently. I've become the type of person who does kindnesses for other, often anonymously. It's very enriching and good for one's karma, and by doing things secretly you avoid the ego trappings of having someone thank you.
So overall, I'm quite happy, but naturally have sad times. That's life. What you have to remember about happiness is that if you look it up in the dictionary, you'll never see it described as some sort of permanent state. To be happy is to be content and feel satisfied, but it's impossible for that to continue uninterrupted for the rest of your life. You have to experience adversity -- it's the only way we grow and learn. Besides, if it weren't for the bad times, we wouldn't appreciate the good times.
EDIT: I love how we've all gotten a "thumbs down". Hmmmm...

I'm happy in the main. I haven't always made good choices but then who has.
Might not have a lot, but I enjoy and am happy with my lot.
Not many things I would change if I had life over again.

To be honest...I am a little depressed....Life is not fair, and things are just not going my way...I try to keep my spirits up, but I worry all the time about where my life is going...and what am I going to do! All this indecision is driving me nuts! I just wish things were different for me!! I could go on & on, but I'll spare you all the details....
