There is a _big_ difference between what you can see visually and what you can image, no matter what the size of the telescope. The biggest difference is in seeing/imaging colour. I have photographed colour in the Orion Nebula easily in a 15 second exposure with an 85mm camera lens. But, in decades of observing, I have seen colour visually in nebulae on exactly _three_ occasions, all with very large telescopes (Eta Carina Nebula with 18", M27 with 22", and Blue Snowball with 74"!) That said, any increase in aperture will enhance your view of a given object. Equally important factors are the darkness of your observing site and the amount of observing experience you have. All the apertures you mention are way too small for serious visual observation, where 10" is probably the minimum.

1 inched = 2.540cm
1 cm = 10mm
10.5cm = 105mm
so, 10.5 cm / 2.540cm = 4.13386 inches
