You want to send a person to jail for one whole year and destroy his career. Yes it's bad that he killed some dogs in inhumane ways for his own pleasure, but the same people who want to hang Vick are the same people who enjoy eating chicken and beef and go hunting for sport. Some of you people eat foi gras and that involves force-feeding geese with a tube stuck down their throat. Think about what a hypocrite you are when you are stuffing your face with that Big Mac or Whopper and never wondering how exactly that cow you're eating got killed. And don't say something like, "well cows aren't pets, blah blah" They're not pets to YOU. But your culture is not the only one in the world. To some, Cows are worshipped, yet in this country they are slaughtered.

Whatever cruelty is done by other people doesn't change the fact that Mike Vick is a special case, indulging in killing for the "pleasure" of it (maybe he's secretly of Latin descent, since those countries still allow these kinds of "sports").

It is not hypocritical to be disgusted by this gangster in disguise, whether you're a meat eater or not. I can't stand cruelty to animals in any form, including how they are raised even if it's only to be slaughtered and eaten.

You need to realize that the world is not black and white, and unless you're pure as the driven snow and never use any animal products at all including clothing, all you do is sound like a finger-wagging scold.

Vick destroyed his own career. Nobody made him do it.. he did it himself. Deal with it.
