Why was she watching me?

while working I just happen to notice my friends wife starring at me in disapproval look or something. The only thing I could think why she would star at me with dissapproval my blouse was pulled down low showed a little of my clevage I did not know this until I looked down. I did straighten the blouse up. All this is going on I see her husband talking to someone I continue to do my job, this was at work by the way. I know her husband use to have a crush on me. Later on I caught her looking at me and she gave me a big smile. I was dressed in a Dark color outfit and her her husband was dressed in a same color dark suit it seem like Our outfit go to together. What is really going on?

It's possible that she feels threatened by you, especially if she knows or suspected that her husband had a crush on you. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Clearly she's the one with the problem.

You could approach it with humor and say, "gee, I notice you are staring at me, do I have a piece of spinach in my teeth..."

or you could stare back at her.... or try to catch her and puff up your cheeks like a blow fish..... and make a joke

you could say, "I noticed you looking at my outfit... I was so embarrassed when I noticed how messed up my shirt was"

Are you uncomfortable because her husband used to have a crush on you? If so, try not to be... it's not your fault or your responsibility.

In my experience, we worry a lot more about things like this than ever need be.... chances are she was lost in thought and was embarrassed when you caught her staring.

Then tell the husband so he can deal with his wife. If it blows out, ask her to have a chat with all 3 of you together so she can get the facts straight.

1) This women is a nutta and extremely insecure "big time" of you!...Or,
2) This women wants "you" big time. Maybe she is sizing you up for a threesome with her husband.
She sounds a little strange to me.
