One isn't any better than the other. If you're both really accomplished lovers, (doesn't have to be "love"), you can perform an outstanding duet with both at the same time.

To me, tender love is the kind love that lasts a lifetime. Excited love can be fleeting.

Yet if they happen at the same time, that's pretty wonderful and I think it is possible for love to be both tender and excited, and if you're really lucky, then it's with your soulmate.

yeah well my initial reaction is that excitement is fleeting, yet again, assuming you mean that the tender and excited love are both truly "love" ..thats hard to say. if theyre both love, i dont really see how one can be better than the other, but typically if you think you're feeling tender love, you're probably onto something bigger and that is more likely to be actual love than if you just think you're feeling excited love. if they happen at the same time..i'd say it means you're at a moment of realization of how much you need/want/justplainlove the person.

Tender love is so much better then excited love. With tender love you have feelings so deep and so many ways to express yourself that you linger longer in the love you have.

I think love needs to be a combination of tender and and excited love. tender love keeps the relationship balanced and makes and together, whie excitement adds that spark and keeps an element of surprise. Just one element can make the relationship boring.

Tender love paves way to excited love

Idealy they're parts of the whole. The tender is the whitenoise that makes up the harmony and exited is the soloist hitting the notes that make you get goosebumps. If you got both, hang with that person a bit, see where the thing leads. They may be the one that makes the others obsolete.
