You can have a vasectomy when you are 18 years old. In the USA, a woman is the only person who makes any decisions about birth after pregnancy occurs. This gives women the power to be totally in control of sex and parenting.
Take the power back! Get a vasectomy! There are many other options to parenthood: adoption, artificial insemination, vasectomy reversal, storing your own sperm in a sperm bank, having your significant other impregnated by your brother and thereby infusing the child with some of your DNA, the Big Brother program and other methods of "parenting" a child from your community that is not your offspring...
This is currently the only way for a man in the USA to have a voice in parental planning. Until the laws change to allow men to have a choice in the birth of thier own children, the only other alternative to vasectomy is to surrender all of you rights to any woman you have sex with. Let's be honest: condoms are going to break and leak, and abstinance isn't going to happen. Having a vasectomy puts you back in control.
Having a vasectomy allows you to make a subtantial contribution to your community: not creating more people. The world needs a reduction in the human population, not an increase. You should be applauded for selflessly resisting your biological urge to add another of yourself to this world.
I had a vasectomy when I was 24, and 18 years later, I'm still glad I did. it was an inexpensive outpatient proceedure, totally painless at the time, and left me sore for two days to follow. After the initial period of soreness, I was "back to business as usual." Since then, I have gotten married and divorced, and I'm very glas that there were no children in the deteriorization of my marriage, which ended after I found out my wife was having an affair. Which brings us to another advantage of vasectomy: if your significant other cheats on you and gets pegnant, you know it's not not your child when she lies and tells you it is, and she will lie, because the only other alternative is to admit to the affair.
So not only can you have a vasectomy now that you're 18, I'm encouraging you to do it, and telling you why I'm glad I did.

I had a vasectomy when I was 21 in Dallas Texas (Fairmount Street). As far as I know I am the youngest man to ever have one (or at least the youngest that was willing to speak of it openly). I have checked on this and the fact is the age limit is simply 18. I never had any children at all. I am now 43, and still happy with my choice. True your insurance or your doctor may have reservations. Just “let your fingers do the walking”. You can find another doctor that will do the surgery. I doubt your insurance will give you any hassle, but if they do, the cash price is usually under $1000.

Congrats!
I knew I wanted one when I was 16.
I got mine just before I turned 22. I tried two places when I was 18, they would not allow it because I had no kids, and was too young. I didn’t try again until I was 21, and then it was no problem because I lied about having a child.
Anyway, it was not the law that stalled me. It was the policy of the individual clinics. They impose their own brand of morals on their customers.
I have since learned that the age limit is only 18. That is true everywhere in the USA.
Just go to a non-profit clinic, and lie about having kids. It has worked for a few of my friends as well. You can also claim to be a little older, if you are paying cash. This might not work of you are trying to use insurance.
I know a lot of people, that I went to High School with, that didn’t want kids back then. Most of them still don’t want them today. Keep in mind that I graduated back in 1984.
I am 41 now. I am still thinking my lucky stars that I got mine.
I am thinking of starting a support group for men that feel the same as I do.

I don't think you will find a doctor who would perform a vasectomy on an 18 year old. You might think you know for sure that you will NEVER want children... but life is a funny thing. You might meet a wonderful woman one day who really really wants kids and you just might change your mind. I really hope you don't have a vasectomy yet - give yourself some time to make sure.

Im not sure about age requirement, but am very interested.
I am only 16, but will be 17 in a matter of days, and first on my birthday list is: a vasectomy.
Ive never wanted children, and would likewise be a bad father even if i did have kids, so i know this is right for me.
Im not sure if i can get this done, especially if your 18 and arent sure if even you can get it, so im sorry to say, but i cant answer you question. If anyone can though, pls post a comment, it will be greatly appriciated.
Im hoping that if my parents sign saying that its alright that the doc will just snip me up, no questions asked, pretty wishful thinking, eh? :-P

I find it outrageous that with the way you Libtards complain about the population being over crowded you all still sit there and discourage 18 year olds from getting this procedure done. Doctors discourage this as well. I wanted kids so I waited. I am even going to tell you the truth about pain etc...THERE IS NO PAIN INVOLVED! Anyone telling you otherwise is a dang liar trying to scare you. If you have decided not to procreate I applaud you because you are helping out the rest of the world...Good Job!

As far as i know there is no age limit or minimum, I had mine done at 27 and the doctor tried to talk me out of it.
You may want to wait till you are about 25 because as you mature you may change your mind.
In the end it is your body and your choice what you want to do with it. Just remember that you can have it reversed but it is a bigger operation and not always successful.

It will be hard because your young and could change your mind. (that's what the doctors will tell you.) I wanted a hysterectomy since I was 18. I'm now 29 and they still won't give me one. They will only do it if you have several children or a health problem. They refuse to do it as a contraceptive technique.

you can do it if you want, and can find a doctor willing to do it on someone so young, but you should know that it can't always be reversed, only about 50% of reversals are successfully
