I'm not quite clear on what you are looking for... could you be more specific?

If you are in the United States:

Most states use the 911 system... dial 911 and the operator will be able to direct you to the appropriate resource.

You can also press 0 for the operator and ask to be connected to your town or city's emergency services.

Most telephone books have the number for police, fire, and ambulance right inside the cover.

You can dial 911 or 0 (for operator) for free on any pay phone.

If you are feeling like you are going to hurt yourself or someone else, you can go to any hospital emergency room and get help.

911 if they are threatening them. If it is domestic violence contact the battered women's program in your community. The police will give you info on how to contact them. They are equipped to help the woman that has been battered get back on her feet, and leave the batterer.
