I would say that 'Lawrance of Arabia' is, along with 'Kill Bill', 'Gladiator' and '300'...even though 300 was a bullsiht movie. What do you think?

As far mythological elements and epic story telling go "Kill Bill" was complete fluff. "Crouching Tiger" or "Hero" were far superior.

Some of the sci-fi classics like the "Star Wars" saga, "2001/2010," and the "Matrix" trilogy are pretty impressive epics. Then there are movies like "Ben Hur" and "Troy" (which are actual epics).

My pick, however, would be the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

I don't know if the SUPERMAN movies are or could be considered enough to be epic. Even the robocop or terminator movies are hard to consider...

The star terk movies might be considered... So it's difficult to know what epic truely is!!

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is by far my favorite, but I also loved the Godfather Trilogy. Can't really go wrong with either of those.
