If so, how much and how often? How much is not normal?

When I try to reason out certain things and keeping quiet does me no good. For example, when I have a project for my company and it is too difficult to resolve. I just speak out loud and reason it.

I talk to myself a bit when I'm alone. Mostly goofy little mutterings when I make fun of things I do or to comment on stuff.
But when I'm in a bad mood I talk myself down or sometimes talk to "god" which is really just a place for me to vent to and a being for me to be angry at.
Talking to yourself isn't really serious unless you get into a split personality situation. Think golum from lord of the rings. Thats bad. Past that I don't think there's really anything wrong with talking to yourself when lonely. Everyone probably does it. They just don't want to admit it.

I don't normally, but i do sometimes if I'm in the middle of something, need to remember something, occasionally when I'm writing things down, and sometimes when I'm alone and bored! I also sing to myself on a regular basis! Lol, does that count?

Yeah I do when I am punishing myself. When I do something bad I just start to talk to myself that I shouldnt do it, and also when I get nervous talking to someone else and I say the bad thing afterwards I start to talk to myself and feeling so useless Is like saying it in my mind isnt enough I have to say it.

Normally never, but if I'm really stressed out and I need to talk something through then I catch myself doing it.

everyone talks to themselves. Especially if they lost something and their roaming around asking themselves "Where did I put it?" I consider it normal, I watch people do it all the time. Beside you got to have the most intelligent conversation you could have in a while.

Sometimes - it actually helps (I believe) become more articulate, but who knows... I try to but mostly I don't. I think inside my brain :)
