I have a Corolla ke70 that has a problem with the head gasket, and another with a blown head gasket. How much would it cost to replace the head gasket? and how mcuh would it cost to change the engine?

Costs to replace a head gasket, assuming the head is in good condition, not warped, and doesn't need a head job typically costs between $600-$1000. More if the heads need to be machined, if valves have been damaged and need to be replaced, etc.

A rebuilt engine typically costs around $2000, and a few hundred to install.

if the car is 15 years old better to scrap it and put the money into a newer car
