my x got married a month before the court hearing for modifation of support. the child support went from 607 dollars a month to 371dollars just because he was able to claim her youngest child because she was not reseving support from that child's father.
And for those ones think that i need to get a job, I work two jobs and have five children. also i have not been with him for over ten years so it is not jealous.
My son snowboards and my daughter is part of a rockclimbing team. they are 13 and 12 thing are not cheap.
My x use to pay 345 a month for support when they were 3 and 2.
I dont think this is fare.

If he is supporting the youngest child from their household expenses then it has to be adjusted no matter how unfair it is to you and your kids. A judge will say that a young child's basic needs supersede extracurricular activities like snowboarding and rock climbing. My brother has done both semi regularly so I know they aren't cheap but those weren't activities we could engage in as kids because mom couldn't afford it on the support she was getting from dad and her job which kept us housed and fed. You would likely not find anyone to increase the order just so they could keep doing those things right now so as tough it as it might be you are just going to have to tell them no if you really can't afford it.

I don't know where you are from, but I can't see him being allowed to support someone elses child, while not being fare to his own. If I were you... I would try to get free legal support though "Legal Aid". I don't know if that is available to you in the state you live in, but... I am from California and we have Legal Aid here. Also... It could be called something else where you are from. Just do a little on-line research & I'm sure you will come up with something.

I don't think its fair that children of that age live in so much luxury. You aren't doing them any favors, stop working to support their lifestyle and start spending time with them.

I know...I dont think it is fair too, but hey atleast you are getting something...You should be happy..Im not receiving a penny from my baby daddy...I have filed but i think the court is just too slow...so be happy your children are getting something...and not nothing...but damn...$607 - $371 is a big deduction...but still be happy...
