I took hundreds of photographs and videos of the ducks at the pond and beautiful scenery and my best male friend the last time he could come over and some funny stuff. The other day, I saw a long-lost buddy I haven’t seen it years and we were taking memory shots, but she accidentally clicked ‘OK’ thinking it was the button at the top to take a picture, and wiped out all the previous photos/formatted the whole memory card.
Is there a good computer trick or virus-free no-charge downloaded programme that is successful? I really want to get them back!

I really doubt that there is any chance of recovering them as a lot of digital cameras actually overwrite the files with zeros when they are erased which is different to most computers which just mark the space as free.
However you might just be lucky,go here:http://www.ofzenandcomputing.com/zanswers/60
But don't be surprised if they are gone, sorry.

Check with the camera manufactor's web site or call 800 number and ask them. Don't believe you can get a very good answer to that on this site.

I honestly don't think you can get them back...er...at least if its on the camera. If they were saved on a computer and deleted, all you'd have to do is go to the recycle bin. But on cameras, I'm pretty sure once its gone, its gone :[
