People can change but only if THEY want to. You cant' quit smoking or drinking because someone else wants you to and you can't change for someone else. Besides if they want you to change why not just go find the person they want already made (as in that person wouldn't HAVE to change)?

Yes people can change in many ways. There are many different things in a person, that can change. Appearence, personality, and responsibilty, are the most common things that can change in a person. When someone changes, it can be a good or a bad change. For an example, when I was a child I gave a lot of people a hard time, because I got mad a lot and didn't get want I wanted all the time. The actions I had, were rude. As I got older, I learned that I couldn't keep getting mad and rude at people. Eventually over time, my personality went from being mad and rude all the time, to easy-going and calm. I had a possitive/good change in my personality, and I'm glad for it.
Someone can change over time, by the way they dress and the type of clothes they wear. When I was a freshman in high school, I didn't dress very neatly. When I became a junior in high school, I started wearing better clothes and I took my appearence more seriously. This was a change in my appearence.
There are many ways how someone can change, and a change can take a couple months or years. I hope I explained this enough, and gave you good enough examples.

I think that people can change, but they don't change completely. It's like a blue sky filled with perfect white clouds, every cloud looks down to the world and see's something that makes an impact on the sky, which makes the clouds start to rearrange themselves, because of this impact. I think if someone makes a difference that difference may or may not make an impact on a certain person, depending on what the difference is. Although you have to realize that a person can't just immediately change. It takes time. And I think everyone changes in time. But theres always a part of them that stays with them forever.

YEs of course, they can. There are a lot of outside factors that allow people to change or rather - affecting people, so they change. A lot can happen especially in a year where a year is a package of life-changing moments. For example, some people forgive during Christmas, others fall in love in February, some change for the better in the New Year.
If there is something constant in the world, that is change. (Can't remember who said this)

I believe that if people are presented with a better option for living and it would be beneficial for them to change they will. If they can change the way they think, they will change the way they are. If you try and force people to change they might do it for a while but regress back to their old behavior. I do believe that change is possible though.

The only way a person is going to change is if that person really wants it. Do not waste your time trying to change that person it won't work.

People can definitely change, especially if they have gone through a life changing or life threatening event.
However, trying to change someone is a waste of time.

Yes, with certain things. People like patterns and tend to be predictable. The person really has to want that change for him/herself.

Absolutely! Peoples ideas, attitudes and perceptions can change, therefore, people can change the way they feel about just about anything. Also over time people mature and with maturity comes wisdom.
