One a one-month camping trip, my wife and I went to Maquoketa, IA; some lake in Minnesota; The Badlands in South Dakota; Bruneau Dunes, ID; Nez Pierce National Park, ID; Yellowstone in WY; drove to Lake Tahoe, CA; Van Damme, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; then we got married spur of the moment at a Drive-Thru in Vegas; car broke down for 4 days the very next day; then we drove to and broke down at the highest point of Rocky Mtn. National Park; stayed the next night in Estes, CO; drove home to Chicago.

DC visiting the Smithsonian Museums... Not really a vacation since I only live an hour or so away but one of my favorite places to go...

My absolute favorite was when my daughter was in 7th grade and she and I (left Dad and the boys at home) went to San Francisco for spring break. My second favorite was a couple years later when I took my husband to Vegas for his birthday.

San Deigo Cal. last year for my senior trip. we stayed at my bff cuz hous for a week it was the best vacation i've ever taken.. but going to MCRD to pick up my brother might be better but will have to see in a moth wich one rocked more..
