We were married in the Lutheran church I grew up in... obviously I was baptized, but he wasn't baptized until 3 years ago. Pastor was aware, but it didn't phase him the least!

As I can speak for all Lutheran churches, I would have to say in general the answer would be no. I can vouch for the ELCA and the WELS and I know of no such restriction. Typically, non Lutheran and non baptized potential members will go through Adult Confirmation classes before getting married.

But since most Lutheran churches recognize baptisms performed (in the name of the Triune God) by other churches, this is rarely an issue.

Nope, you don't even have to be Lutheran! My fiance and I are not very religious, he's an athiest and I'm agnostic and the pastor knows this, but it's no problem. We're having a religious ceremony because we come from religious families and the wedding is for them, not us. (I don't believe in the ritual at all!)

I think to be married in any Church you have to be baptised...it dosen't make sence to get married in Holy Matrimony and not have the NUMERAL uno sacrament.
