What do you think?
Do we really have a say in the decisions we make, or is everything we do destined by and contributed to genetic predispositions combined with environmental or learned behaviors & patterns?

And is it always a given that the first handful of answerers will not read the additional details of a question?

Eh - I think it's a 50/50. I believe there is one outcome from a multiple number of possibilities to arrive at it. And that's where our free will comes into play. Somehow, certain things occur as if they were forces of gravity; they almost happen inevitably. The routes used, and the methods of travel to get there may vary in different "what if" realities, but one single outcome, as predisposed by the forces of nature occurs. Are they the result of genetic predispositions? That would be very interesting. However, would you blame a mutated gene for the derailing of your destiny? Hmm.

we have the will to think freely, but as to speak freely that is a different thing.
Although some of our free thinking comes from our parents, sometimes my first thoughts are what my mother use to say, but then I change then to my thoughts, which are free. I don't think thoughts are genetic, but sometimes they are nurtured by our parents etc.

They keep saying we do ..but I haven't seen it.
I think life leads you to where you need to be you just need to read the signs..the more I try to just go with the flow..the easier and less trouble my life is..
The more I put up a fight...the worse it gets.
