It usually means the speaker is unhappy with the way their life is going somehow (work, family, school, etc) and they either want to take time off, try new things, travel, be alone, or whatever to see if anything 'clicks' and makes them a happier more fulfilled person.

I was me. Sometimes I don't know whether I was me. I seem to have lost me somewhere along the line. Maybe I was busy. My friends seem to have given up on me. My beloved left me. My family doesn't know me anymore. I seem to be very different from that me before. I'm not going anywhere with us. I don't even remember me. Maybe I need to just find myself? I wonder!

if u dont know who u are as a person its hard to be in a relationship. they could just be b.s. u. but if not then bein in a relationship just makes thing s harder for u if u are tryin to figure out who u are as a person
