The very word revealing as it relates to friends--I'm thinking only that the revealing is not what they show me but instead what they are able to show me about myself. Usually this is unintentional but great nonetheless.

Yes, I treasure friends with that quality but I don't believe it's a quality you can look for consciously. If you go looking for something, you usually find it whether it's actually there or not.

I don't think you go looking for that quality. It is a bonus you find after you get to know a person better, and better, and better.

The me you are and the me seem to be are just a moment away from the me you were and the me you've yet to reveal.

And like someone pointed out, on a physical level, being the revealing type can be and probably and will remain exciting for both parties concerned.

360 FYI - I once applied to be an xray technician. I doctor thought it would be something I like to do, but; some how it didn't pan out. Perhaps if there had been a person with textbook anatomy there I might have tried harder to do that for a while. Feel greatful it was not a colonoscopy, I don't see that as something you necessarily want an audience for. Then again you are not in too great of a position to argue. "I said no camera phones, and I meant it." "But it is for the textbooks" "Oh, in that case...."

And heres hoping everything stays happy on your end.

To a point. I think for a friendship to grow, you have to let people in a little more, both ways. The paradox is that I respect that private place also, where nobody goes but you. I really like the answer about your friends helping you to reveal things about yourself. You have a gift for the provocation of thought. pass the peace

The best quality in a friend is integrity! If they have that everything else pretty much is a given! (steadfast adherence to strict moral and ethical code)!
