ok so i have been here for 1 yr and 5 months and have been on $232.00 i was on a traineeship but finished 5 months ago which according to my award has nothing to do with my wage anyways i should be getting $315.00 or more how do i tell my boss about this! the main thing is im scared i'll lose myjob if i say anything! plaese Help!!

If your boss is worth his weight in dirt, you won't lose your job over this. I assume you have something that says you should be making $315. Take whatever it is and politely ask your boss to explain the pay scale. Point out that you are making $232 when in your opinion, you should be making $315. Your boss may not even be aware of the discrepancy in your pay. And if your boss determines that an error has occurred, you should be due back pay for each pay check that was incorrect.

If you get any grief over this, as others have stated, there are plenty of jobs that pay what you are making. You always have the option of filing a grievance with your state's employment agency.

Well if you need extra cash you should talk to him especially if you've been there for a year and if he does fire you there are plenty of jobs that pay more than $232.00.
