of course in the newer crap episodes that they showed on Spike TV it was obvious they were flaming, but how about on the Nickelodeon mtv networks days?
Of course they lived together, slept in the same bed, and sort of had a spousal relationship that featured tons of abuse, but they were always around chicks. Ren always wanted pectoral implants to impress the ladies and he ended up leaving Stimpy for women in one episode, maybe they were bisexual?
Of course this is a silly question and it doesnt really matter, but it always bothered me.
and just to save space and points ill ask this to Rocko fans,
how did they get over the censors by naming the restaurant, Chokey Chicken, which of course was changed to Chewy Chicken, but there was an episode where the called Hell, "Heck" and peaches mentions its because of censors, was that really because of censors or was that sort of a joke against them, that the censors were overbearing yet couldnt pick up the Chokey Chicken gag?

niki - i dont think you understood the tone of my question, I TOO am iritated that ren and stimpy were made to be gay, I dont feel it is necessary, and I'm on the same boat as you with spongebob but thats something completely different, the creators of spongebob had made clear that hes asexual, its all the propaganda of christian activists,

I don't get the Chokey Chicken part which someone must explian to me.Is it like a real place or some thing? I love Rocco's Modern Life so I wanna know. Umm I always thought that ren and stimpy were brothers or cousins but I coul be wrong. And especially if they were gay AND bros. or cuz. that makes it more obscene. Spike tv episodes lol. really bad

Would it REALLY matter if they were gay? They're freaking CARTOONS. They're not real in any way. The makers of Ren & Stimpy probably just made them gay for a episodes just to make them think they're gay for shits and giggles.
