The 1975 Big Red Machine vs. Boston was unforgettable.
The Miracle Mets of 1969 were quite a pleasant surprise.
As a Dodger fan, 1981 and 1988 were sweet. Esp. Hershiser's dominance in 88 and Gibson's storybook blast.
The 2001 series was good but, then again, anytime the Yanks lose is good. :-)
The Angels' comeback in 2002 was special. They looked completely demoralized until Scott "dances to the beat of a different drummer" Spiezio made them believe in destiny.
Overall, I'd have to go with the '75 Classic. Game 6 is the most dramatic contest i've ever witnessed.

Not even close.
#1: 1975 the first 5 games featured three one run games with Cincinnati taking a 3 games to 2 lead. Game 6 featured HOF catcher Carleton Fisk hitting the game winning walk-off HR in the 12th inning to force a game 7. Game 7 see-sawed with Boston blowing a 3-0 lead and Joe Morgan winning the game in the ninth with a bloop single
#2: 1991 Two worst to first teams, Braves and Twins, first time since 1890 any team went from last place to the World Series the next year. Again, the first 5 games go back and forth and are close except for game 5, a 14-5 Atlanta victory. Game six features Kirby Puckett robbing Ron Gant of extra bases against the wall in left/center and then winning the game with a walk-off 11th inning homer. Game 7 features Jack Morris pitching a complete game 10 inning 1-0 shutout.

91 series Braves Vs. Twins. Twins were underdogs and pushed to a game 7 and ended up winning. One of my best memories of it though was Puckett's walk off homerun to win game 6. Was one of those truly special things that you witness in sports and makes you a fan for life.
