yes i would say Stan Lee is super famous and has created some awesome, unforgetable heroes but when you ask someone who is the most famous comic book hero...hands down you'll get more supermans than x-men and spidey combined.

Stan "Too Many To Count" Lee is certainly the most significant creator for Marvel comics. And I'd say Bob "Batman" Kane is the most famous on the DC side. And in the world of contemporary graphic novels, I'd say no one is bigger than Neil "The Sandman" Gaiman.

Stan Lee. He's created the most famous charcters i'd say of all time. Spider-man, X-men, Incredible Hulk just to name a few. He's a living legend.

I would say stan lee is the one everyone knows, and his name is on everything early on in marvel, but i've heard his involvment in most of the characters that he is creditied for was overstated. notice he is always a co-creator
