An e book means people go to a specific website and use a credit card to purchase access to your book. You make royalties on it.

The problems are

1) Unless you promote it, how do people know it's even there?

2) Once someone purchases it, they can just copy it and share it with friends so they don't have to pay to read it.

You will not make a lot on e books. Books on shelves still rule the book market. Pax = C

Try this publisher, you can do hard copy and electronic versions with them, and promote it yourself or pay them to market it for you

A friend of mine published his book with them and it cost him about 400 - 500 dollars.
