I live in Alaska so you may know that I don't have much AC experience. However I do have some experience with the auto AC. Because of the AC blowing in my face in the car, I have come down with horrendous coughs that went on forever. Antibiotics did not help so I assume they were not infections. I finally said something about this to someone and she told me that the same thing happened to her husband when they went to a southern state for a few months. I wonder if the same thing is happening to you and your baby. I thought it was happening to me because I only used the AC a couple of months out of the year.

When was the last time you changed your filters in the AC, and gave the entire system, including the vents a real good cleaning?

I wonder how you got into the Fast Food category. Yes, it could be your A/C causing your infections. You need to check the filters and get your system cleaned and checked. Good luck to you both.

What's this have to do with fast food? I have heard of AC doing that if you have some type of mold or allergies. But don't hold me to that cus I am not sure. Try to post in health section. n

Be sure you are keeping the filter changed or cleaned if it is a reuseable one. Ususally a/c will reduce airborne contaminants, and is recommended for people with allergies.

Very possible, especially if the AC is old and hasn't been cleaned for a while.

Probably not. Indeed, because the device filters some of the crud out of the air, it is likely to prevent some.

It is possible. You need to check with a Doctor or Medical Professional. It could be something in your environment also, like mold or mildew. Please call for an appointment today, because they can get you an answer to your question.

Yes it could. The AC makes my allergies worse... Not sure if that could be the cause.
