Generally speaking, yes. Some would be black, some white and most of them would be a mix. Some of those would be nice looking while some would not be too great, but then by breeding the best looking male and best looking female from the babies, you could get some really nice looking fish eventually.

I have done it and your answer is yes. I mixed a silver lyretail molly with a black molly and got dalmatian lyretail mollies. So from someone speaking from experience your answer is yes.

Mollies constantly get the "community tank" bill yet I quite have constantly got here across them aggressive. I quite have a pair in my 10gal tank and that i'm thinking shifting them to my 29 gal simply by fact the chase lots.

not really sure. Only way to find out is if you try. Its mostly in the genes. and it might make more of a stripe patterned or something ut im not sure.
