I thought I was over him, but we never officially ended it, so lately I have been tempted to contact him, but I am trying to be strong & just move on, cause he was totally no good for me, but we did have a strong bond & were good friends, but now have not spoken for months. I am busy with my own life & friends, but lately I feel like calling him for some reason. I need a pep talk!

Do what you feel. A psychiatrist wrote a best selling book, The Road Less Traveled. It says that you will always be drawn to someone that can help you grow spiritually even if the person may kill you. See site below on accelerating that growth so as not to need this.

I have been in your situation and I know it's very hard for you to not make that phone call.

Whenever you feel like making that call just remember he is no good for you and the call will not lead to anything good.

Instead call a friend, go for a walk, do anything that makes you feel good and that you enjoy.

Try to be strong and not go back to something that is bad for you.

Take care and all the best.

you don't need a pep talk, you need to grow up. you cannot go back, you cannot recreate, you can't even create, as you obviously still live in a dream. You must let sleeping dogs lie, it's history, it's gone, get on with creating your life and get out of the past.

Age old story. No matter what advice anyone gives you, you probably won't take it. I've never understood this syndrome, and I never will.

People smoke, drink, do drugs, eat too much, cut themselves, so who the heck knows why we do things that aren't good for us.

The only thing for certain is, we will most certainly continue to do them.
