As the American Liberal begins to understand basic economics and their is no free lunch, do they eventually become productive citizens ?

Most of them won't grow out of it because they won't ever work hard enough to actually pay taxes. As for the previous response regarding generalized statements, that is the modus operandi for most liberal posters. You don't need to apologize for it either.

I have common sense, understand economics,pay for my lunch and I have a job. You must be speaking of some other Liberal Democrat because the I am a Liberal and none of what you just said describes me.

We could also say Conservative kids are taught to hate people who aren't like them. To turn a blind eye or show fear and hatred towards something they know little about. We can also say they honestly know little about anything. As for the broken homes comment you are using the side of poor inner city Dems. There are also poor uneducated conservatives as well. They tend to live in trailer parks and think it is ok to date their cousins. They may or may not have graduated high school. We can say all kinds of dumb things but the truth is kids turn out the way they turn out due to 2 reasons. Half of it they inherit biologically and the other half they get depending on how caring the parents are.

I keep on seeing this phrase "free lunch". What the hell are you talking about? There isn't a liberal I know looking for a free lunch. They are all educated, working citizens. So my only conclusion is you seem to be the one lacking sense. Or maybe you're just nuts.

The Rush Limbaugh show occasionally has callers that are either reformed because of disillusionment, but mainly because their fellow Liberals (normally the ones in power) tend to bite them in the butt.

I think most of them do. The more profound narrow minded ones have this perversion (liberalism) for the remainder of their lives. I know of very few liberals that are actually productive members of society.
