Lots of posters here believe that human population is not a problem for life on the earth. So how many more billion people could live on the planet? 5, 10, 20, 50 billion? God wants humans so the more the better right?

Depends on their standards of living. We could support another 8 billion who live on a dollar a day like most of the world does. But we couldn't support even another 2 billion living the way we do in the U.S.

i couldtn' tell you the exact number, but i know we can handle much more... i'm thinking we could triple our population and be ok. there wont be a shortage of food or resources for many, many, many years for many more people... as long as it is distributed and managed and recycled responsibly. that's the part we have problems with now... once we solve those, we'll be able to hold many more people without a problem
