This is an interesting example for comparing phenotypes
and genotypes. The genotype for a particular gene has
the allele contribution from the mother and the father both
explicitly stated. Genotypes AO or AA either one can
give phenotype A since A is dominant over O. It means
for this case that the mother can contribute A or O, whereas
the father can only contribute O.
The Rhesus situation is just reversed. Rh- is recessive so
the only way the mother can have A- blood is if both her
Rhesus alleles (one from each of her parents) to be Rh-.
The father can get + phenotype from ++ or +- genotype.
What I mean by saying the situation is reversed is that it
is the father who can contribute different Rhesus factors
whereas the mother can only contribute a Rh-.
The net is this.
Mom can contribute A or O, but only Rh-.
Dad can contribute Rh+ or Rh-, but only O.
Together, they can produce the following genotypes:
AO-+ AO-- OO-+ OO--
which, respectively, give phenotypes A+ A- O+ O- .
All this proves nothing without testing the baby, of course.

The two factors involving blood (type, meaning A, B, AB, or O) and Rhesus (positive or negative) are carried on separate chromosomes. Thus, yes, it is possible for the cross mentioned in your question to have an A+ child. See the web site below for more information on the genetics involved.

Yes.
The OBA and Rh genes are separate, so the A could come from the mother and the Rh+ from the father. It is at least a 1 in 4 chance, knowing nothing else about the parents (if he is the father).

They could get an 0- 0+ A- or A+ baby.
With no DNA test to prove it though when he's offering to be tested she can't get anything from him.
