well, my ex. my dad doesn't particarly like him, so he banned me from having any contact from him whatsoever. But he called me recently, and we started talking. And we are starting to call eachother now. but my dad doesn't know his #. when he grounded me, he said he was gonna find out. but since its my cell phone, it doesnt show the name. only the #. what should i say if he asks who that # belongs too? please help and thank you.

Your 'ex' what? You are obviously a kid. So, listen to your father and don't talk to this guy. Why do you think your father banned you from having contact with him? He has better things to do than spend his time annoying you by grounding you and telling you not to talk to some guy, so he must have a good reason for it. Delete the number. Don't talk to him. Then you won't have to tell your dad anything about the number, will you?

this ones on you hun. it depends on how ur dad would react. if you're really worried about what your dad would do, then letting him know that its your ex is not an option. if you dont want to lie, then just erase the phone calls. if you think you'd have a better chance lying, then do what a lot of other people have recommended, and save it under a fake name, preferably a girl's name. and of a girl your dad doesnt know to stay on the safe side.

Store the # in your phone under a friend's name that isn't already on there. Or you could delete the call after he has called you, (after writing down the #) that way your dad doesn't see his # at all, and you still have access to it.

I say be honest because if you lie about it, both people are going to get hurt. Tell your dad how you feel, but also be prepared to listen to why he doesn't like your ex. All he cares about is your happiness and doesn't want to see you get hurt. Hope this helps.

first of all dont lie about the number becuse if he gets the number he can white page it and see who the number belongs to to. so the number he is calling from save it as a contact and put it under a fake name...

if he's ur ex you really shouldn't call him. friends and boyfriends are ok but ex's is different. so just tell your dad the truth you don't get in big big trouble as lying.

you should listen to your dad, but what you can do is put in a fake name like "greg" for example. greg is somebody you met. just be careful the truth always has a way of coming out.
