I was married for almost 30 years, until I lost my wife to Breast Cancer. After a couple of years and relocating to Hawaii, I met my second love of my life and we have been married for 3.5 years, but we have been together for 6 years.

in a relationship with Jesus!!!
I'm single...but I have a lot of friends. I enjoy being 17 (18 in 22 days), and living single. I want to get married, and everyone and their mother at my church is so young when they get married, but I'll wait for God to BRING me someone. I am not gonna search...because I know He has a plan. I would have to say I live more by the ideals of Joshua Harris (I kissed dating goodbye/boy meets girl)...and well...people used to get married as young teens

I am married for 54 years.
I really have no idea about, if they wait longer now days to get married. I do know that there is a lot more living together without being married. Some materialize, more of them don't. Morals are lower today, then they where 54 years ago, when my marriage vows where exchanged, in church before sex. We have been blessed.~Jill

i'm single and whatever happens, happens. i just hope its good things that happen though.

i think people today wait longer to get married not only because of the whole divorce issue, but i think we would want someone who is financially stable and has a settled lifestyle and just don't want to rush things. in addition, people want to make sure they are making the right choice. schooling is also a big issue. some (particularly women) might want to go back to school and get a degree or a higher degree which leads to a better paying job because of the wage gap between men and women. however, men will always get paid more than women.

I'm single and have been the majority of my lifetime. It is a statistically proven fact that people wait longer these days to get married than in years gone by. (well, most of them) I will never get married....period. But something tells me I have found the woman I've always dreamed of and want to be faithful to in that regard.

I've been married 25 years today 8/20. Kid's are getting married later, these days if they get married at all. There is a strong anti marriage phenomenon going round .
