That's really the truth. Man could not change the truth because the truth always prevails. The truth changes people because they fabricate what is true. They do it to advance the purpose of others in pursuit of something at their advantage. Truth makes other people blind in seeing the real sense of truth.

What is truth? To a great number of people, it is absolutely TRUE that homosexuality is a sin; to an equal or greater number of people, it is absolutely TRUE that God creates some people GLBT. The same can be said for innumerable issues. Is it true that Clinton was a better president than Reagan? Some say yes, some say no. In this sense, it appears that people change the truth.
I think that a lot of people don't want to know the real truth; they just want to go on thinking the way they have always thought, because it's easier and safer. In that sense, truth would change people -- and people greatly fear change.

I think of truths as multi-layered concepts, the deeper the peeling the simpler and more concise the truth... so in that way truths change... people only 'change' truth when they peel back the layer to find a more universal but personal truth.
Truths are also contingent on time. Truth in 1000 ad was that man was landlocked and could not travel in the air, but time changed that truth.
And yes truth changes people, but they have to subjectively understand that truth first.

Truth is more subjective than many people give it credit for.
Take for instance a Theists truth that he holds onto passionately believing it to be The Truth.
I see it as nothing but pap and drivel for the weak minded.
Can truth change people?
Sure - one could go along as a trusting husband and find out your wife was having a affair - I think finding out That truth would change the husband unless he was a bit open-minded or just didn't give a damn.
Truth is as flexible as statistics - people can make either one work for them in any way they want if their mind is quick enough and not encased in concrete, so to speak - you couldn't really encase a mind n concrete, could you?

You can change truth. For example the thief. It is true the person is a thief. However, they can change that truth by no longer stealing.
Truth or falseness can change a person. If a person is constantly told they are something they grow to believe it even when it may not be true. It happens all the time. A good example is the abusive spouse who constantly derides their partner and destroys that person's self esteem. Eventually they grow to believe the claim that they are worthless.

fact is fact. Your question, if that's one, isn't very centred. There are empirical truths upon which maximum sane human beings agree (2 + 2 = 4, the earth is around, and so on.). in spite of the shown fact that, there are a number of stuff which wander into the area of non-public adventure and opinion. My adventure is fact to me, yet your adventure would desire to fluctuate. that's relativism. whilst it includes the examples you cite, lots of it boils right down to interpretation. many different religions have self assurance they are superb suited by using fact they interpret the Bible in different methods. some are honest disagreements, some are charlatans. Politics is, back, war of words on the superb approach of governing. Frankly, your question is plenty too unfocused and imprecise to advantage particularly some time answering. i'm doing my superb right here. possibly others will handle it extra thoroughly.

Well, based on our daily experiences, people can bend, distort or change any truth on its surface...although truth on itself is one single fact. Bad people, particularly liars, always reverse the truth.
Truth on its reality won't change people either. People will always choose to follow their 'own perceived truth' and believe in it more than the real one. But then,...who knows what really is true? I'm only certain about one particular truth, and that is: God is real.

I agree except for one type of person.
Politicians try harder to change truth than anybody else.
Frequently, through the use of phony statistics, they manage to convince some people of false information.
I think the quote that applies is, "There are lies, there are damn lies and then there are statistics".
