{We have renters who have become friends with an aquaintence I know. They live at the begining of our driveway where the new elementery was built. Not even 100 yards away. My kids were excited to walk the driveway to school this year but, are scared now due to all the "drug trafficing" going on. Hopefully, this week, they'll all be gone...the druggies, you know?}

Shad...I can appreciate your feelings...my youngest daughter got hooked on Meth and went through rehab 3 times...however, your poem went over the top...and I do like your poetry...but there is a time and place for profanity...and I don't think this forum was right on either count. As I say, I feel your pain and I'm glad you're taking action. I'm also glad you're using poetry to vent your anger and angst...however, I'm sure you could have used other words to convey your emotions...words that were a bit more profound...and I'm not talking PC, I'm just talking "more appropriate"...poetry is such a vast canvas...I'm sure you could have used a different brush and a slightly different hue to paint the picture you intended. We are most frustrated by things beyond our control...don't let it get to you, just take what action you can and stick to your guns...but above all things..."keep your head about you when everyone else is losing theirs but blaming it on you".

I am sorry for the situation you have with these crackheads on your doorstep.
To your work: No, it does not work. Not in any way.
Someone once said that, 'profanity is a weak mind's way of expressing itself'. Now, I am NOT saying that your mind is weak...not at all...however, as Kevin S above says, there are places that profanities work perfectly in. However, a poem is not one of them. So, right from the beginning, that works against you here.
Moreover, there are times when what you write makes no sense at all:
My kids need fear (Really? Why do you want to make your kids afraid?)
you not, (where's the verb?)
no more! (no more what?)
Do you see what I mean? I have no idea what you are trying to say here.

Dear shad....hi i don't know how to respond to this one but obviously you are very angry....i mean which parents would not....some people shad will do anything for money ..... and i know how you feel....hopefully this will be taken off immediately.....and the neighbourhood within which you live with your kids will be safe once more.......i would also take similar action when there are these people around i will not think twice but to report to the polis for immediate action..... hope all will be well soon.

Clean up your own language and inform your kids,that there dumb people who try to sell drugs to kids, tell them never to accept anything from them, But don't jump the gun on those people they might even like your kids.
I hope you don't smoke,because this is sad for kids also.

hi shad...gooooood poem...yes get rid of them...why did you rent to them....next time get some references..i've never rented out before but my mom has for years and shes had both bad and good renters..for the most part remters dont care because its not their property...and the drugs make it even worse...call the cops/feds or somebody..if they are on some type of government assistance i'd call welfare...good you cute bard...beam me up ulysses

It is definately wrong to have such danger close to your home with kids too. I understand your anger and if I was you I would be reporting them to the cops. You protect your kids. This is not right for them to do.
