my turtle with the white spot is only about an inch and maybe a month or 2 old

it could be shell rot, or maybe as others have said it is from it growing/getting ready to shed..but im not sure if that little of a one would be ready to do that yet or not. make sure his shell is still firm all over. i know it might still be a bit pliable as he is so young, but you should be able to tell the difference between a young pliable shell and one that is getting soft. if you think it could be softshell, please get it to a good herp vet right away, and if it is in with other turtles, it needs to be separated immediately. if it is sick, and there are other healthy turts in with it, one, they could get sick also, and two, they healthy ones awful enough to say...could very likely go after the sick one. its happened to me before i realized they did this...

It could be something called shell rot, caused by improper lighting. Sometimes mine (7 years old) gets something that looks like white spots but it's just a tiny air pocket under his shell when he is about to shed, when he sheds that part goes away.

i didnt know sliders shed either lol i just got mine about a month ago! so now ill have a heads up so like the others im pretty sure he'll be fine

some times my red ears get white pots when there going to shed it shuold be fine

I'd be more concerned about the blue spot on your finger.

it could be sick i cant see very clear take it to a vet
