How about a qualified President, not some woman who was married to a politician, or a guy who says anything to get elected and then does not deliver.
The WH is an important role in our country and to turn it over to someone because of sex or race, sorry, that is just ignorant.

I don't think either of those things matter. While I agree that the white boys club has been running things for far too long, I still feel that nothing is as important as a candidate's standing on all the quality of life issues that directly effect the lives of each and every one of us! It is far more important to have a president who puts the people first....ALL THE PEOPLE!!! Than, it is to worry about race and/or gender! *sm*

How about for once.. we get a GOOD president....
One that has maybe read the constitution.
Can't be said for the last two.
It should make NO difference what race or gender a politician is.. cause government should be SO TINY that they cannot influence your life.
Unfortunately Big Business and Big Government = Big Sister.
Hillary.. will fit the bill.
ha.

I may be missing something here as I don`t live in the US and I`m not an American but shouldn`t the presidency go to the most eligible candidate regardless of their gender or colour?,or am I being naive?

I agree with Tammi D. Why not a black woman. The men have certainly not done a great job maybe its time for a woman's touch.

I think a woman president should come first so we could finally show men that we could rule a country without a man by our side.

while i agree that its time for either, or collectively, both, don't you think its best to wait for the right candidate for the position rather than deciding on your new "leader" by race, gender, or color? Hm, checking out the people putting themselves up for the job, we still have a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng way to go, no? We have one person avoiding answering and one person changing the subject...Neither of whom are any different than who's already in office!

It really doesn't matter the race or gender of the candidate what matters is how well they will run the country. in the last 7 years we have been lead down the road of destruction by the current Adm. and i feel that either one of the top Dem. candidates will be 150% better.
But my question is how many of us will truly vote!!!!!!!!!!!! and how many have voted before??????????????? so if you are old enough to vote and didn't you really shouldn't even attempt to answer this are any other political question..............
