Probably not as it would be considered 'your fault' that your car flooded (dumb I know). It all depends on what kind of coverage you signed up for (when I got my computer I got 4 year coverage, so much so that if I throw a party and someone spills beer on my computer, I get a brand new one). Call best buy and ask.

Best Buy has a few options when it comes to warranties.
Look at yours, and if it includes ADH (Accidental Damage from Handling) then you are in the clear, and it will be replaced. If not, then it is your loss.
If you have it, and take it to BB, then I hope you have patience! First they will send it to HP so that it can be inspected by an HP technician, who then has to let BB know if it can be fixed, or needs to be replaced.
Then it takes forever to "have it fixed", if you wanna call it that..
They "fixed" mine, and sent it back to BB, and the screen wouldn't even come on. So they had to send it back to HP, who after 2 weeks finally decided I could get a replacement...
The whole process took more than a month.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

When we bought the extended warranty they said it covered anything and everything, even freak damage. But that was just the lying salesman talking because they wouldn't warranty anything. Check your fine print.

It depends on the warranty that you purchased for it. You might still be eligible for it with the "Product Replacement Plan" visit their website for more information or call:

Best thing to do is check with best buy, might want to ask about it like ( a friend of mine has this laptop that got some moisture on it) If that dosen't go well, then check your home owners or renters insurance company.

Your auto insurance should cover it... warranties on computers usually cover defects, break downs, etc. They usually don't cover accidental damage. If you dropped it your warranty wouldn't cover it.

Don't count on any of your insurance policies to cover is unles you have "flood insurance" written into your policy.
Floods are normally considered "acts of god" and are not covered in most policies.
Best of luck though.
