The 4th is fast because he is able to use a special technique. He uses his special kunai which allow him to teleport to where the kunai is. This allows him to move from place to place and attack people Just by throwing his kunai and attacking the enemy. This ability is show in the Kakashi gaiden where he tells the konoha ninja to throw the kunai at the enemy then he takes care of all the enemy ninja. However due to different level of ninja the forth will be faster then lee just in normal speed. The forth is a hokage while lee has just become a chuunin.

Nope lee isn't faster than Yondaime cuz yondaime knows the teleportation jutsu so he can go from one place to another in just a blink of eye. But yeah Lee is fast and when he opens The 5th gate way faster than the others.

Maybe I have never seen anything saying that Yondaime can opens the gates but maybe

I would assume that Yondaime is faster considering his nickname was the "Yellow Flash."

I think lee would be faster if he opened up all the gates, but even if he did open up all the gates, he would only be a bit faster than the 4th, but if the 4th opened the gates on him, he would be like atleast 5 times faster

Nobody would know cause no body seen the 4th fight!. I mean Lee is fast and all but nobody knows how fast the 4th is cause he is dead!But if i was to guess i would say the 4th.

im almost positive Lee is faster because i can run and fight in his sleep. ( sasuke is better and faster than Lee)
