The cheapest Disney hotels are the All Stars and Pop Century. Rates are available on their website, but they may very well go up by next year. Another idea: I have gone with big groups like this before, and we have found it more cost-effective to rent a house nearby. One of the best companies we have used is http://www.allstarvacationhomes.com
Everyone has more space, it's only a 10-15 minute drive from the parks, and we find that we eat more meals in the house than we would at a hotel, saving on theme-park-priced food!
Otherwise, you might consider looking at some of the off-property, non-Disney hotels that have suites. You might be able to get a better deal that way.

The price can vary a lot with Disney, just based on the hotel, room, tickets, and dining, so it will be really hard to give you a good estimate for this trip. It will also depend on how many adults will be going, how long, and the dates.
Prices for next year are going up quite a bit, the dining plan isn't as good of a deal, rates will be different for holidays and weekends (no matter what day you come in, which is different from this year). Disney does have promotions throughout the year to lower the cost of the trip, but if you get too close to Christmas, a discount usually is not offerred.
As you can, the price will depend on a lot of different factors. I think the most important thing to do is to start doing some research to narrow some things down, for example, your dates, the hotels that interest you, how many people will be going, if you want dining, etc. Then, once you have an idea, you can call Disney and get some different quotes, this can help you make your decisions for what will be affordable for your situation.
Disney has advertising for a starting rate of $1600. That price is for 6 nights, 7 days, at a value resort, standard room, in value season, with passes for 2 adults, one junior (children 10-17) and one child (children 3-9). Children two and under are free, including room, passes and dining. This should give you an idea of how much you will spend, your price may be a little lower, or much higher, depending on what you decide to do, but it gives you a place to start. I will include a link to their site with affordable vacations, that should help with the planning as well. If you go to the Disney World website you can get pretty much all the info you need and also price out different options.
Disney does not offer group rate for 3 rooms, I believe you have to have at least 8 rooms before you qualify for the group rates. Depending on how many people will be going, you may be able to do a Grand Gathering, it doesn't save any money, but it does provide a few benefits as well as special things you are allowed to book.
I hope this helps you get started. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail.
