Bad move. eMachines are junk. I speak from experience having fixed many eMachines. Not only that, but the RAM is too low for Vista. It will work, but it will be slow. Accept no less than 2GB of RAM for Vista.

The moniter is awsome.....
processor is ok.. U should get duo processor from intel.
1gb ram is ok. But u are running Vista u need at least 2 for best performance.
Harddrive is gud.
DVD is gud.
CARD READER IS GUD IF U USE IT.
6 usb is gud.
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition is gud.

Looks great. I would recommend getting XP instead of Vista, until all the bugs and issues are worked out, and you'll NEED to get a proper graphics card. Just about any card would be better than the one that comes with it. Walmart should also sell some cheap ones.

I had an emachine before it was ok but could not do all the things i wanted to do. I would go for the Acer that they have in the suggested section on that web page. I have an acer labtop and I love it.

but plan on another $60 for tax
first thing i would do, upgrade to a better graphics card and add another gig of ram

depends. if you want a core computer with out much power, then yes, quite good for word processing and using MS Paint. However, if you are a gamer, build your own at dell.com or compaq.com.
