I live in beautiful, sunny Coffs Harbour (you wouldn't call it actually sunny at the moment, or beautiful as it has been raining for about 4 days). I grew up in Queensland though, and did all my schooling there, and I can remember singing a wonderful song with lyrics like "Life is great in the sunshine state...etc" and I've never forgotten the feeling I got from singing that song on a school expedition. By the way, I'm now 60.

Isn't that a little bit blasphemous to say God singled out Australia to be "His Country," if anything I would think it would be Judea (aka Israel or Palestine), since that's where Jesus was born. Why is Australia called God's Country?

God forsook that place centuries ago. He's resided in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee ever since.
