Mascara cannot curl your eyelashes, that is just a smart gimmick for whatever product you're thinking of. To curl your eyelashes, buy an eyelash curler, then apply mascara to thicken the lashes.

You are using the eyelash curler wrong perhaps. You're suppose to get close to the base of the lashes and then clamp the curler and hold for 10 seconds and then apply mascara. Eyelash curlers bend lashes upwards so that it opens up the eye and give the appearance of longer lashes. Curling mascaras as one poster mentioned is purely just a gimmick.

what really helps is to take the eyelash curler, i do this all the time, i have like the straightest lashes in the world, and they are medium long lets see so first take the eyelash curler and curl the your lashes as close to the lid possible and then yea just hold it for a few seconds, which you probably already know and then curl the tips the very tips of your lashes and there ya go you have natural looking curled lashes, there arent really any mascaras that curl your lashes, they just keep them curled really and then smooth out the bends in your lashes the best mascara for this is by far diorshow unlimited trust me i have used like a million and one mascaras and i have found that this is the best one. hope this helped! if you have any other questions, just email me!

Try asking at the Clarin's counter at Macy's, or whatever local department store you have. They have one that uses sugar instead of tar, and as the mascara dries, the sugar sticks together and tightens the lashes to curl. Not having tar in it also keeps it from being impossible to wash off. And while you're at the dept. store, try every counter's mascara. It's free to sample, and you might find one brand works WAY better over the other. Expect to pay $7-$30 for a dept. store brand.

Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara works amazing for this. Not their lash lengthening or waterproof, just the Ulitmate!

Umm well I use Covergirl mascara (the purple one).
That woroks for me pretty well, it doesn't clump and gives length. If you wanted more volume you could use Covergirl's Volume exact.
