Errr, I wouldn't wear a dress on the first day, even though it's a really cute dress. I would stick with some jeans and a cute tee. And some cute accessories. Keep that dress for another occassion. =]

Well I totaly don't mean to be rude, but I will answer the question honestly. First of all, the style of the dress is a really interesting style, but I really don't think it would look good in all of those colors that you mentioned...too many different colors goin on. And I don't thin converses would go with it at all. If anything, wear the dress without the belt and without the converses. Instead wear some cute heels in navy blue or cream.

Let me start of by saying that is a very cute dress. Also for the first day of school try wearing something you will be comfortable in and not something extra special that you will never wear again. I understand you want to make a good first impression on your fellow classmates but just make sure that their impression of you will be made according to how you act and not just how you dress.

NO NO NO. fashion disaster. Dont wear thick belt with that. And wear flats or heels if your gonna wear a dress. And quite frankly, the style/colors of the dress isn't very attractive.

personally i think that is way too many colors, though the dress sounds adorable! i would wear the dress with an orange or brown belt and a cute pair of flipflops or flats. a cute matching headband would also go really well with it.

Hi!

If you're comfortable with what you're wearing I guess it's OK but in my opinion the dress isn't flattering at all and it's too colourful with the red belt and stuff. I'd go with a dress that's more fitted and one colour and then wear colourful accessories.

cream, orange, blue and dark blue? Doesn't match, sorry. And the shoes that you would wear the dress just would not match.

Just wear jeans and a t-shirt. Simple as that. don't go all out for people, not worth it.

Wow that is the ugliest dress I've ever seen. And the way you described it made it sound 10 times worse. No, not a good first day of school outfit. And I'm not just getting that necklace because it's juicy, I'm getting it because it's cute and different that anything else at my school.

Wear it if you're in elementary school, but if you're older, I think conservative but flattering is the best way to go. Maybe a shorter version of that dress with some skinny jeans and flats would look nice. ♥

I like the dress but not the belt or shoes. wear flip flops or sandals with straps or even ballet flats. the belt will ruin the dresses main purpose: to be flowy and big.
