Dear J, if you check your globe you'll see that between Europe and the US you have a vast Atlantic Ocean to cross!!!!!! Were you absent the day they taught geography in your school?

Take a Train from New York City to Halifax Nova Scotia
Buy a Ticket on a boat or plane from Halifax to Knight Town Ireland
Knight Town County Kerry to Dublin by train
Take the Ferry to Pembroke Dock Wales.
Pembroke dock to Bristol England
And Bristol To London
And London to Paris

Yeah, there's a bridge that goes from Long Island, New York right to Paris, with exits at Dublin and London. Didn't you hear about it?

ALMOST... but still no. I don't think the other answerers thought of this, but there are only about 50 miles of ocean that make this an impossibility... that is the distance of the Bering Straight between Alaska and Russia. If they ever build the Bering Straight Bridge it could be done.
