They were actually cousins of the Queen. Katherine Bowes-Lyon and Nerissa Bowes-Lyon. They are(were) the Daughters of one the Queen's uncles on her mother's side.

The Queen's only aunt on her father's side was Princess Mary, the Princess Royal, who was certainly not gaga. Her uncle, her father's youngest brother, Prince John, was below normal and died young. He was kept out of sight. There was a TV program about him called The Lost Prince.

The queen had aunts on her mother's side but they were all older than her mother and died years ago. I don't know whther they were gaga or not but they weren't in the public eye anyway.

When you say Ga or GA or Ga., that indicates Georgia. That was the last of the original 13 colonies of the U.S. and in someways, the most English or British.

To my knowledge, the Queen has no aunts living in Georgia.

You really can't count Elton John, although he does live in Atlanta, Georgia and might be considered a queen by some.

I thought the Duke of Edinburgh was a bit Ga Ga. He should be in a home for ancient royals with foot in mouth disease.

It is a little known fact that the Queen had two Aunts who were ga-ga from birth. In accordance with long standing royal practice, these women were kept hidden away in a secret series of chambers under Loch Ness, Scotland, until their deaths - Victoria Patsy in 1971 and Mary Letitia in 1986)
