Why are so many people apt to label other ,but when they are labeled they get all angry?

This applies to gender, race, religion, social groups, etc..

Human nature. We like to put ppl in a box. i would label myself middle age, white, SUV driving soccer mom...Nothing wrong with that. You are what you are. Now if by label you are meaning prejudice I would get angry too. If you said all soccer moms are pot heads or atheist that would be making a sweeping generalization you cannot prove.

Its called hypocrocy. Everyone does it at some stage of their lives, if not all the time.
