Folic acid is a form of the water soluble Vitamin B9. Ascorbic Acid is Vitamin C. There is a big difference

many vitamin preparations pair vitamin c and folic acid but they are complementary not identical.....are you pregnant or planning to be? be sure to have plenty of both.
