Yes, I will do a second round. I match up the last 16 Stanley Cup Champions by the year they won it like the most recent vs the last of the 16 champions.

2007 Anaheim Ducks narrowly edge the 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins in my opinion
1993 Penguins humiliate the 2006 Hurricanes in a sweep.
2004 Tampa Bay Lightning beat the 1993 Montreal Canadiens
2003 New Jersey Devils beat the 1994 New York Rangers
2002 Detroit Red Wings edge the 1995 New Jersey Devils
1996 Colorado Avalanche beat the 2001 Avalanche..I think the 2001 team had a better defense, but the 1996 team, had more offense and a younger Roy
1997 Detroit Red Wings over the 2000 New Jersey Devils...I think that Detroit has had the better team of the two........I felt that detroit should have won in 1995
1998 Detroit Red Wings over 1999 Dallas Stars
Note: One of the things with a larger NHL is that the 1993 Canadiens and 2006 Hurricanes are regarded as the most mediocre winners of the Stanley Cup. As a result, I canb't see these teams beating any Stanley Cup winners throughout history.

Detroit is merely too efficient for the different group. i've got faith that Pittsburgh will provide Detroit a robust run yet i think of Detroit will win the cup in 6 video games. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Holstrom and Frazen are merely to stable for the penguins protection to preserve. Lidstrom, Chelios and Stuart and Rafalski are great veterans which will shutdown the penguin offense. additionally Kronwall is enjoying great hockey. he's enjoying great close down protection alongside with throwing great hits and getting targets and assists for his group. Lebda is likewise doing a great pastime of conserving the different teeams offence to a minimum. Kris Draper is shuting down the different communities impressive line on a first foundation. Detroit has the terrific protection of anyteam in the league. they simply facilitates around 20 pictures a recreation. Osgood is combating very practically all of those pictures. he's enjoying magnificent. Detroit Redwings would be the 2008 stanley cup champs.

Really good question, but I think there has to be a better way to seed these teams up 1-16.
Maybe a ranking that would take regular season winning percentage and playoff winning percentage combined. That might make some of the less dominant teams stand out, maybe not. I really found at least half of these match-ups too tough to call.
