The last thing we want is Iran supporting Iraq that would mean nothing but trouble. But we also can't keep sporting Iraq, billions a month to Iraq when we have some many issues that needed me taken care of like everyone without health care, and the insane raises in everything. We are digging a very big hole being there.

I don't think Iran has any intentions of supporting Iraq as a country. Iran will take the oil and side with only one portion of it's people. That's the position it's in. I would rather see Iraq get in the position of supporting itself.

Neither. Iraq and Iran hate each other. They fought an 8 year war over water usage, the Shatal-Arab. America is a western culture that will never be accepted in the Middle East.

If I had to pick, I would say Iran so we could get out of there.

The enemy of my enemy is my chum. look at the time line. JAN seventy 9...Shah of Iran over thrown, JUL seventy 9....Saddam takes potential in Iraq. Nov seventy 9....Hostages taken in Iran. Dec seventy 9..u.s. invades Afghanistan. summer time 1980 Iraq assaults Iran. the country helped Iraq as a skill of having lower back at Iran. yet we actually didn't wish Iraq to win the two so we secretly helped Iran. (have self assurance it or not, Israel helped Iran additionally.) by skill of helping the two facets, the conflict dragged on for 8 years and neither had the flexibility to reason issues someplace else.. as quickly as the conflict ended, they began meddling in different countries. What we could constantly have carried out is provide each a nuke and the flexibility to grant it to the capital city of the different. think of what number issues that should have solved.

If Iran does the support, it becomes a Shia versus Sunni fight with the kurds getting killed by the fighting factions in Iraq and the Turks. With America it won't be much better.

Obviously it would be more natural for Iran to take responsibility. They are better suited, geographically, historically, and culturally, than the US is.
Heck, they were all united persians before Britain broke them all up.

HOWEVER, although Iran is probably the best suited to handle Iraq, whether or not they would do so objectively, morally, and benevolently remains to be seen.

We definitely do NOT want a new Iraq that is as anti-American as Iran's leadership seems to be.

America is in iraq to plunder and rape the country. America's culture is alien to iraq's. America will siphon iraq's oil.

Iran can offer anything that iraq need. Iran can build iraq to its former glory.

Iran would just support the majority and attack the Sunnis, than Saudi would attack to protect the Sunnis, and the Kurds would group with the kurds in Turkey and try to take land from turkey.

Unfortunately, it will be Iran. They have the religious influence considering Iraq's large Shiite sect, it has the proximity vs the US being on the other side of the world and it will have the money to do it.
